Plan Bee

Tag’s largest project ran in Myanmar from 2013 till 2019, and involved the wide-ranging development of the beekeeping sector in the country, training thousands of villagers, introducing new technologies and methodologies. Plan Bee still operates now as a pioneering honey business.

Water Works for Girls

Tag leveraged water to improve education for girls in Homa Bay, Lake Victoria region of Kenya. This was a multi-pronged project, approaching the empowerment of girls through a combination of formal education, improved nutrition, enhanced hygiene and psychosocial support.

SheltHer

Tag teams of professionals volunteering at the Polish border with Ukraine identified a strong need for safe accommodation for vulnerable women and children who had fled Ukraine. To this effect, Tag partnership with an Israeli NGO called Topaz to established two homes for refugees in the city of Rzeszow in Poland. At the shelters, we gave secure accommodation for women and children, advice and assistance in accessing government support and finding employment, and provided social activities and emotional support.

Surprise You Good

Tag is developing an interesting initiative to show recognition to outstanding children and adults who have outshone themselves and are an inspiration to those around them. We do this by surprising them with a generous gift, and to also include their peers in the occasion.

Youth Employability

Tag recognizes the importance of empowering young people around the world to take advantage of technologies to generate livelihood opportunities. In Myanmar, we led several initiatives to help rural youth access new employment opportunities through relevant computing skills.

Hoops for Kids

Since 2014, Tag has been running a basketball-themed youth development project in the slums of Kenya, from Medare and Korogotcho on the outskirts of Kenya, to Manyatta in Kisumu.

Drop of Milk

In Partnership with Rotary, our project worked to enhance the training and equipment for nurses and midwives in Shan State to improve the life chances of mothers and babies. The project implemented effective monitoring and tracking during pregnancy, introduced early detection of high-risk pregnancies, promoted enhanced hygiene and sanitation practices in healthcare delivery, and provided education and training about child development to community health workers.
