Khun San Aung, age 26, grew up as a Pa’O ethnic minority in a small village in Myanmar. Despite going to school, Khun felt his education did not provide him the skills or knowledge to pursue his ambition to open his own business. Joining the E3/YouthSpark TAG-Microsoft project as a Youth Leader taught Khun the skills to open his own computer shop and develop plans to set up a printing house in his community.
“The E3 Youth Leader training was very helpful in increasing my computer knowledge that I now share through TAG-Microsoft’s Train of Trainers program. My trainees learn basic computer skills such as using email, searching the web, and making Facebook accounts secure. As a Youth Leader, I also learned about business from successful individuals who mentored us.”
