Although Kyaw Ye always wanted to be a private beekeeper, he did not have the money to start.  Then he heard about TAG’s Plan Bee project. 

Upon joining, he received 20 hives but produced only 4 baskets of honey in his first season.  The next season, he worked for other beekeepers on a migration trail, and in 6 months, he produced 12.5 baskets of honey and increased his hives to 30.  Kyaw Ye now feels confident that he will be able to migrate with his bees on his own, and expects to increase his hive count to 40 or 50 in the coming season.
